Briefing for Presenters
We would like to thank you once again for your enthusiasm to join our forum as a speaker or oral/poster presenters, and we hereby send you all practicalities to prepare for the forum.
PROGRAM
Please consult the online program for the time of your session. Note that the slot of your presentation can still be altered, so consult the final program in the week of the forum.
Accepted presentations will be visible on the forum program as soon as the registration processes are completed. This process includes payment transactions and setting the presenting author.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
PREPARING YOUR PRESENTATION
- A presentation template is available here for you to use.
- Given that it is an international forum, we would expect the slides and presentations are in easy, plain English.
- Please avoid very busy slides as it may compromise audience's attention and understanding.
- Double-check spelling and grammar. It is the responsibility of the presenter to ensure their text does not contain any typos or grammatical errors.
UPLOADING YOUR PRESENTATION BEFOREHAND
- We kindly request all presenters to upload their presentations to our website until March 23. Your presentation will then be available on the laptop in the room.
- You may make last-minute changes to your presentation and upload it to the website again.
- All presenters are strongly advised to bring a copy of their presentations on a USB drive with them in case of any need. It will not be possible to present using your own laptop.
TIMING
- Please be in the appropriate room during the break before the start of the session to make sure your presentation is ready.
- Please arrive on time and present yourself to the moderator. As this is a compact program, there will be little time to move the presentations around. We appreciate your cooperation to ensure a smooth progression.
- Check in the programme the time you have allocated for your session and allocate at least 3 mins for questions. (In talks of 30 min we may suggest at least 5 min for questions)
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
- Poster size: Posters should be no larger than A1 (height: 84.1 cm, width 59.4 cm), with the forum logo placed at the top. A template is available here. You are responsible for printing your poster and bringing it to the forum. The balance between text and table/figures should be taken into consideration.
- Display area: Posters will be exhibited in the coffee break hall.
- Presentation schedule: You will be presenting your work on Day 1 (26th March) during the coffee break sessions. Session assignment and presentation time will be available on the programme.
- Presentation duration: Please prepare a presentation of no more than 4 minutes, leaving space for a short Q&A. You will present to your group, supported by a Europrev delegate, and other attendees are welcome to join.
- Best poster award: The winning poster will be announced at the end of the forum. Good luck!
