Briefing for presenters

We would like to thank you once again for your enthusiasm to join our forum as a speaker or oral/poster presenters, and we hereby send you all practicalities to prepare for the forum.

Please consult the online program for the time of your session. Note that the slot of your presentation can still be altered, so consult the final program in the week of the forum.

Accepted oral presentations will be visible on the forum program as soon as the registration processes are completed. This process includes payment transactions and setting the presenting author.

We kindly request all presenters to upload their presentations to our website until April 23th. Your presentation will then be available on the laptop in the room.

If you need to make last-minute changes to your already uploaded presentation, please present yourself at the registration desk where you can use one of the designated computers. If your presentation needs larger adjustments, we suggest to use your own laptop. Be sure to bring your own charger.

Double-check spelling and grammar. It is the responsibility of the presenter to ensure their text does not contain any typos or grammatical errors.

Please be in the appropriate room during the break before the start of the session to make sure your presentation is ready.

All presenters are strongly advised to bring a copy of their presentations on a USB drive with them in case of any need. It will not be possible to present using your own laptop.

Please arrive on time and present yourself to the moderator. As this is a compact program, there will be little time to move the presentations around. We appreciate your cooperation to ensure a smooth progression.

All oral sessions have a duration of 60 mins. Each presenter is assigned 8 mins of presentation + 4 mins for Q&A. It is recommended not to exceed a maximum of 10 slides for each presentation.

The posters will be presented digitally on the displays in the forum foyer. Therefore, it is important to use the provided template in order to be presented accurately.

The format of the displays is vertical and 1079x1917px. The posters should be uploaded as a single ppt/pptx slide. The font size of the posters should not be less than 14px for a clear visibility. The balance between text and table/figures should be taken into consideration.

There will not be any dedicated time for poster discussions, however the presenters should provide contact info on the posters for possible questions. It is also recommended for the presenters to be in close proximity during breaks to discuss their work with colleagues attending the forum.

All speakers must make use of the appropriate presentation templates. You can download the template for oral and poster presentations by clicking here.
